I'm a pop / classical crossover artist (similar to Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman). There seem to be very few artists in this genre, and I was wondering how to go about finding bookings in this area?

is there a certain type of band that does best at NACA or APCA? I work with a alt rock/goth type band (Bella Morte) and am not sure if they would fit well with the college audience.

How hard is it to get yourself on local tours with major sposorships? Who controls named sponsorships such as "MGD Presents..." promoters or companies?

Pure gold as usual Ariel, great to hear your voice!

So my question... what is an aging white male singer/songwriter supposed to do, lol?

Can a story make the difference? An educational slant in the gig pitch? A seminar on songwriting, booking, touring, or cooking?

Good to speak with everyone today. I'm happy to jump on here and answer anyother questions you might have. I think we covered the 3 already on this blog, so if there are others... fire away.

All the best.

ARI

Are these teleseminars ever recorded and archived so that folks (like me) who missed the original call can listen at some future date? I wasn't able to attend tonight and am *really* disappointed that I missed it ...
